Nov/Dec Historical news update

The group has been very busy moving towards the creation of the Research centre. This will provide information to Legion members and the general public who have an interest in Canada’s military history and how their fore fathers were involved. A designated area and computer is in place and data is currently being installed on a weekly basis.

Donations for the collection would be gratefully received. Newly acquired artefacts will be processed, documented, prepared for display and preserved for future generations. If you have items that you feel would be pertinent to our collection and would like to donate please contact us through the main office.

A Remembrance Day display will be on loan to the residents of Adelaide Place in Lindsay from November 8 through to November 11th.

Please feel welcome to come to the Legion and view artefacts on display.  The current display which includes Remembrance Day will be available for viewing to the end of the year. If you have ideas on possible future displays please feel free to contact our group.  Your participation will lead to bigger and better displays.

Please enjoy the upcoming Holiday Season and festivities.  All the best to you and your families for the coming year.
